Google Business Profile, managed every week, with reviews that follow the rules
For a local service business, the Google Maps listing is the storefront. It decides whether you appear in the map results at all, and reviews decide whether people call. We manage the profile every week and run a review process that stays inside Google's policy.
What's included
A full profile audit: categories, services, service area, hours, attributes, photos, duplicates and ownership. Fixes done in the first two weeks.
Weekly updates: a post, new photos from your team’s phone, Q&A answers, holiday hours. The profile never looks abandoned.
Services listed one by one (furnace repair, drain cleaning, hail damage inspection) so Google can match you to specific searches.
A review request process: who to ask, when, by what message, with a direct link. No quotas for staff, no staff names in requests, no incentives. Those are now against Google’s policy and they get profiles suspended.
Review replies within one business day, including the bad ones, in your voice.
Monthly check of where you rank on Google Maps across your service area, not just at your front door.
How it works
- Audit and fix.
We compare your profile with the top three in each part of your area and close the gaps that matter (primary category, services, photos, hours).
- Make the review ask automatic.
When a job closes in your software, the customer gets one message with your review link. Only customers who did a job with you are asked, which is what Google requires.
- Keep it alive.
A post and fresh photos every week, questions answered, and a monthly rank map so you can see where you are winning and where you are not.
Why this comes first
Among the things that decide which three businesses show on the map, the primary category, distance from the searcher, and reviews are at the top, and being open at the time of the search entered the top five in Whitespark’s 2026 ranking-factor survey. Most of that is profile hygiene plus a review process plus answering the phone. None of it needs a big budget, which is why it’s in the $500 plan.
What we don’t do
No fake reviews, no review gating (only asking happy customers), no staff review quotas, no profiles at addresses where nobody works, no keywords stuffed into the business name. These get profiles suspended and they’re the first thing a competitor will report.
Plans that include this
Profile management and the review process are in both plans. Growth adds the local SEO work that supports the profile (service pages, citations, website signals).
Starter
$500 per month
Google Business Profile, a review process that follows Google's rules, after-hours call answering by an AI assistant, call tracking and a monthly report.
Owner-run companies that mostly need to stop missing calls and start collecting reviews.
Growth
from $1,500 per month, by scope
Everything in Starter plus local SEO, weekly content and video, 24/7 AI call answering with booking, CRM integration, ads support and a weekly report by lead source.
Companies doing roughly $1.5M+ a year that want the whole lead pipeline run and measured.
Both plans start with a 90-day paid pilot. Prices in CAD, GST extra. Ad spend, if any, is paid to Google directly. Everything that's included.
Questions we get asked
Can you put "HVAC" or "Plumbing" in our Google profile name?
Only if it’s your real registered business name or a trade name you actually use on your signage and documents. Adding keywords to the profile name to rank higher is against Google’s policy and is one of the most common reasons profiles get suspended. If you want a name that says what you do, register the trade name first, then we update the profile.
Will you get us reviews?
We’ll build and run the process that asks your real customers at the right moment. We will not write reviews, buy reviews, swap reviews, or ask people who weren’t customers. Canada’s Competition Bureau has named SEO companies specifically in its warnings about fake reviews, and Google removes them.
We have a bad review. Can you remove it?
We can flag reviews that break Google’s rules and we’ll reply to the rest so new readers see your side. Most negative reviews stay. The fix that works is volume: more real reviews, consistently.
How fast does this show results?
Profile fixes show up within days. Reviews depend on how many jobs you close; a company doing 40 jobs a month can usually add 5 to 10 reviews a month with a working process. Movement on the map rank is usually visible in the first one to two months.
